Ann Hay Taumarunui

Ann Hay is a Taumarunui Artist who specializes in Batik. Ann has exhibited for several decades and has been an active member of the Art Community in Ruapehu exhibiting regularly in Taupo with success. Furthermore, Ann is still winning awards and recently won the Ruapehu section in the Ruapehu Art Awards with over 200 entries from Artists from all over the Country. Ann also has a great love of animals and has volunteered for the SPCA for many years. This love is also expressed in Art where she has regularly produced commission works creating animal portraits in pastels. Ann's Art expresses confidence and she can capture the essence of a scene or subject in just a few strokes, as many successful Artists can do
